COURSE CURRICULUM

The Esthetician – Spa Management program follows a structured full-time progression over four semesters, designed to develop both practical and professional skills. In Semester 1, students study core subjects such as Cosmetic Product Knowledge, Fundamentals of Spa Treatments, Manicure and Pedicure Treatments Lab, Professional Practice in the Spa Industry, Fundamentals of Esthetic Sciences, and Marketing and Social Media for the Spa Professional, alongside a Communications course, totaling 294 hours. Semester 2 deepens technical expertise with Principles of Esthetic Sciences, Spa Treatments Theory and Practice, Artificial Nail Technologies, and an 84-hour Spa Clinic placement, plus a General Education course, totaling 336 hours. Semester 3 focuses on advanced skills including Nutrition for the Skin Therapist, Advanced Facial Treatments Theory and Practice, Cosmetic Applications, and a 84-hour Spa Clinic placement, complemented by a Communications course in Culture and Communication and another General Education course, totaling 364 hours. The final semester emphasizes Skin and Body Applications, Spa Management and Entrepreneurship, Holistic and Body Therapies, and a 84-hour Spa Clinic placement, along with a General Education course, totaling 294 hours. Throughout the program, clinical placements provide essential hands-on experience in a professional spa setting, equipping graduates with the knowledge, technical skills, and management competencies needed for successful careers in the esthetics industry, all within a total of 1,288 program hours.
