COURSE CURRICULUM

The Denturism program’s full-time course sequence for the Fall intake is carefully structured across four semesters to provide comprehensive training in denture design and fabrication. In Semester 1, students begin with foundational courses such as Anatomy and Physiology, Introduction to Complete Dentures, Orofacial Anatomy, Dental Materials, and an introduction to the Denturism profession, alongside communications and general education courses, totaling 378 hours. Semester 2 deepens knowledge with courses covering Anatomy and Physiology for Denturists, Principles for Regulated Professionals, Partial Denture Labs and Design, Oral Histology, Microbiology, and Intermediate Complete Dentures, amounting to 364 hours. In Semester 3, students focus on Casting Theory and Lab, Denture Design and Fabrication Clinical Preparation, Partial Denture Design Theory and Lab, Denturism Practice Management, and a general education course, summing up to 294 hours. The final Semester 4 includes Radiographic Interpretation, Dental Implants, Prosthodontic Theory, Introduction to Digital Dentures, a Denture Design and Fabrication Clinical Placement, and a general education course, totaling 350 hours. Throughout the program, students integrate practical skills with theoretical knowledge, supported by clinical placements and professional practice management, preparing them for successful careers in denture design and fabrication. The total program hours amount to 1386, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
