COURSE CURRICULUM

Fleming College’s two-year business diploma provides a comprehensive, in-person education designed to prepare students for success in today’s global economy. The program builds a strong foundation in key areas such as marketing, accounting, finance, operations management, and human resources, while also developing essential soft skills including leadership, negotiation, critical thinking, and communication. In the first two semesters, students gain introductory knowledge in business fundamentals, computer applications, mathematics, and economics, along with professional writing and organizational behavior. As they progress into the third and fourth semesters, students delve deeper into subjects like business law, management accounting, sales, entrepreneurship, statistics, corporate social responsibility, and innovation. A highlight of the program is the applied project course in the final semester, where students work on real-world business challenges in collaboration with local or international organizations. General education electives throughout the program allow students to explore societal issues and broaden their understanding beyond business. Graduates of the program are well-prepared to launch their careers across various industries or continue their education through transfer agreements with partner institutions in Ireland, Scotland, Australia, or locally. With a practical, hands-on approach and guidance from experienced faculty, this diploma opens the door to a wide range of opportunities in the business world.
