COURSE CURRICULUM

In Level 1, students take the following mandatory courses: Strategies for Success, Web Server and Network Fundamentals, JavaScript 1, Graphic Design for Web Developers, Front End Web Development, and one of Reason and Writing 1 for IT or Reason and Writing 1-EAP. In Level 2, the mandatory courses are: Web Security, JavaScript 2, PHP Fundamentals, Databases 1, Business at the Speed of Light, and CMS Web Development. In Level 3, students complete: Communications for IT, Understanding Workplace Behaviours, JavaScript 3, Leveraging the Cloud, User Interfaces and Data Visualization, Mobile Development 1, and Databases 2. In Level 4, students take: Full Stack Deployment, JavaScript 4, Mobile Development 2, Small Business IT Strategies, Web Development Trends, and one of Application Project or Innovation Applications. Additionally, they must complete one General Education elective, typically chosen from history, psychology, sociology, environmental studies, ethics, or cultural studies.
