COURSE CURRICULUM

In Level 1, students are required to take the following courses: Construction Technologies 1, Mathematics in Technology 1, Health & Safety, Co-operative Education Employment Prep, Methods & Materials 1, Reason & Writing 1 - Technology, Quantity Surveying 1, and Construction Surveying 1. In Level 2, all the following mandatory courses must be completed: Sustainability in the Built Environment, Plumbing 1, Quantity Surveying 2, Construction Surveying 2, Mathematics in Technology 2, Methods & Materials 2, Construction Technologies 2, and Statics & Mechanics. During Level 3, students must take a General Education elective in addition to the core courses: Heavy Construction Quantity Surveying, Contracts in Society, Site Logistics 1, Electrical 1, HVAC 1, Quantity Surveying & Estimating 1, and Wood Design. In Level 4, another General Education elective is required, along with the following mandatory courses: Construction Contracts & Specifications, HVAC 2, Quantity Surveying & Estimating 2, Concrete Design, Site Logistics 2, and Building Economics 1. Students must complete two General Education electives, normally taken in Levels 3 and 4.
