COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured across four levels, each featuring a series of mandatory courses designed to develop foundational and advanced skills in acting and media performance. In Level 1, students take courses including Reason & Writing 1 for Contemporary Media, Acting Fundamentals, Movement, Introduction to Performance, Speech, Development for Screen & Stage, and Film Criticism, building a strong base in both theory and practice. Level 2 focuses on refining performance skills with Communications for Media, On Camera Skills, Speech, Movement, Character Development, Actor’s Process, Development for Screen & Stage, and Theatre History, expanding students’ understanding of the craft. Level 3 includes a required General Education elective and mandatory courses such as advanced On Camera Skills, Scene Study for Stage, Voice Acting, Business Skills for the Actor, Combat & Performance Capture, and Development for Screen & Stage, emphasizing both performance and professional skills. In Level 4, students complete courses in advanced Voice Acting, Scene Study for Film, Entrepreneurship & Auditions, Collaborative Production, Editing & Graphics for the Actor, Production for the Actor, Rehearsals, and a Capstone project, which together prepare students for real-world industry demands by integrating creative performance, technical knowledge, and business acumen. This comprehensive curriculum ensures graduates are well-equipped for diverse careers in stage, screen, and media arts.
