COURSE CURRICULUM

The Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) program is a structured four-year degree designed to develop strong business knowledge, leadership ability, and practical management skills. In Level 1, students build foundational understanding through courses such as Mathematics for Decision Making, Introduction to Accounting, Computer Applications for Business, Management Fundamentals, and Professional Communication in a Diverse World. Level 2 introduces core business areas including Accounting 2, Marketing, Microeconomics, Operations Management, and Human Resources Management. In Level 3, students study Management Accounting, Macroeconomics, Organizational Behaviour, and Sales Leadership and Management. Level 4 focuses on Business Law, advanced Marketing, Business Information Systems, and Statistics for Business. Level 5 develops financial and research skills through Financial Management, Performance Management, and Applied Research Methods. Level 6 emphasizes leadership and organizational growth with courses in Project Management, Leading by Design, Not-for-Profit Management, and Leadership, along with co-op preparation. Level 7 covers Small Business Management and Taxation, International Business, and Customer Relationship Management. Level 8 includes Global Strategy and e-Commerce, Trends in Leadership and Management, Strategic Management, Career Development, and a Capstone Project. The program also includes a mandatory co-op work term, providing real-world experience and preparing graduates for management careers across diverse industries.
