COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graphic Design advanced diploma program is structured across six levels to build strong creative, technical, and professional design skills. In Level 1, students are introduced to the fundamentals of design through courses such as Reason and Writing for Art and Design, Design Basics, Typography, Digital Applications, Interactive Design, Creative Concepts, and Camera Basics. Level 2 builds on these foundations with advanced design basics, digital typography, interactive design, creative concepts, communication for design, and co-op preparation. In Level 3, students develop intermediate skills in design, digital illustration, advanced digital applications, interactive design, photography, and packaging and display design. Level 4 introduces advanced design techniques, digital applications, interactive design, advanced illustration, and a digital master class, along with a general education elective. Level 5 further enhances expertise with advanced design, digital applications, interactive design, illustration, and master-level creative practice. Level 6 focuses on advanced design, digital applications, interactive design, motion graphics, and creative community engagement. Throughout the program, students gain experience in branding, typography, UX/UI design, illustration, and digital media. Overall, the program prepares graduates for careers in graphic design, digital design, motion graphics, UX/UI design, and creative industries through a strong blend of theory and hands-on practice.
