ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology, commonly known as Fanshawe College, is a major public college located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, with campuses in London, Simcoe, St. Thomas, and Woodstock. Established in 1967, it evolved from the Ontario Vocational Centre and has grown to become one of Canada’s largest colleges, offering over 200 programs including degrees, diplomas, certificates, and apprenticeships to approximately 43,000 students each year. The college is recognized for its specialized programs in aviation, digital arts, public safety, business, health sciences, and hospitality. It comprises 15 academic schools, such as the Donald J. Smith School of Building Technology, Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology, and the School of Digital and Performing Arts. Fanshawe has significantly expanded its campus infrastructure, notably through the development of the London South Campus and a downtown London facility on Dundas Street, which serve a large international student population. In 2023, it hosted over 11,700 international students, making it the third-highest among Canadian colleges.
