COURSE CURRICULUM

The Supply Chain Management – Global program at Durham College is structured across two semesters, providing a comprehensive blend of technical, analytical, and leadership skills essential for modern supply chain professionals. In the first semester, students build a strong foundation through courses such as advanced tools and technologies in supply chain management, integrated business process management, and business acumen tailored for SCM professionals. They also study supply chain optimization, global logistics and transportation management, principles of supply chain management, and global procurement, gaining a deep understanding of how goods and services move efficiently across international markets. In the second semester, the program advances into more strategic and specialized areas, including global materials management and enterprise resource planning systems, leadership development, and compliance in global supply chains. Students also explore business analytics and decision-making to enhance data-driven strategies, along with global sourcing practices. A key highlight is the strategic supply chain management capstone project, where students apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, demonstrating problem-solving and decision-making skills. Overall, the program equips graduates with the expertise needed to manage complex global supply chains effectively and succeed in a competitive international business environment.
