COURSE CURRICULUM

In the first semester, students explore the anatomy and physiology of communication and swallowing, introduction to audiology, and augmentative and alternative communication with assistive technology. They also begin their clinical and professional practice, study child language acquisition and related disorders, as well as articulation and phonology. Additionally, the semester covers adult neurogenic disorders and rehabilitation. The second semester focuses on stuttering and voice disorders, further clinical practice, and a continuation of child language acquisition and related disorders. Students also study amplification systems and aural rehabilitation, adult neurogenic disorders and rehabilitation, and principles of therapy for diverse populations. The third semester is dedicated to practicum seminars and integrated practicum experiences, where students gain hands-on practice and apply their learning in clinical settings.
