COURSE CURRICULUM

The Applied Data Analytics program offers a comprehensive and practical curriculum designed to prepare students for careers in data-driven industries. In the first semester, students build foundational skills with courses such as Careers and Digital Portfolio, which helps them prepare for professional roles, and Introduction to Data Analysis, where they learn core analytical concepts. They also study Data Collection and Data Management to understand how to gather and organize data effectively, while Advanced Data Analysis Tools and Techniques introduces them to industry-standard software and practices. Data Analysis and Assessment 1 and Statistical and Predictive Modelling for Analytics 1 equip students with analytical frameworks and modeling skills, and Visualization and Communication for Data Analytics 1 focuses on presenting insights clearly. In the second semester, the learning deepens with Data Ethics and Responsible Decision Making, emphasizing ethical data use, and Data Analysis and Assessment 2, which builds on earlier analysis techniques. Students further refine their modeling abilities in Statistical and Predictive Modelling for Analytics 2 and enhance their communication skills in Visualization and Communication for Data Analytics 2. The Capstone course allows students to apply everything they’ve learned in a final project, and Project Management for Analytics ensures they can lead data initiatives effectively in real-world settings.
