COURSE CURRICULUM

The program begins with foundational courses in communication, person-centred support, health conditions, and psychology, along with an introduction to recreation therapy. Students enhance their academic writing, prepare for placements, and study program planning and professional practice. As they progress, they develop interpersonal and assessment skills, participate in field placements, and evaluate therapeutic programs. In the final semester, students explore entrepreneurship, advance their assessment techniques, complete a second field placement, and learn to support diverse populations through inclusive recreation therapy practices.
