COURSE CURRICULUM

In Semester 1, students are introduced to key business concepts such as accounting, financial planning, human resource management, marketing, and supply chain management. This foundation prepares students for understanding the essential elements of business operations, with an emphasis on practical skills in business computer applications. Semester 2 builds on this knowledge with courses that focus on communication foundations, business computer applications, and advanced human resource management topics. Students delve deeper into organizational behavior, conflict resolution, mediation, and mental health in the workplace, while also enhancing their understanding of business mathematics. A general education elective allows for broader learning opportunities. In Semester 3, students expand their skill set with specialized courses, including computer applications for HR professionals, recruitment and selection, and training and development. The focus is also on career development for HR professionals, with an introduction to statistics for business, helping students make data-driven decisions in HR management. In Semester 4, students explore macroeconomics, critical thinking, and ethics in HR, along with specialized courses in occupational health and safety, human resources information systems (HRIS), and data analytics for HR. The semester also covers employment law, preparing students for the legal aspects of human resources. A general education elective offers further opportunities to diversify their learning.
