COURSE CURRICULUM

In Semester 1, students are introduced to the fundamental principles of accounting, business computer applications, financial planning, human resource management, marketing, and supply chain management. This foundational semester equips students with the essential skills needed for understanding the key areas of business operations. Semester 2 focuses on enhancing communication skills, mastering business computer applications, and gaining insights into client management and sales. Additionally, students delve into macroeconomics, business mathematics, and select a general education elective, further expanding their academic scope. In Semester 3, students dive deeper into business communications, microeconomics, and entrepreneurship for financial services. The curriculum includes an introduction to the financial systems in Canada, Canadian securities, and retirement planning, along with a general education elective for further personal and professional development. Semester 4 emphasizes personal taxation, money management software, life and health insurance planning, and mutual funds in Canada. Students also build on their knowledge of Canadian securities and financial management, culminating in a comprehensive understanding of personal financial services, with the option of selecting a general education elective.
