COURSE CURRICULUM

The Esthetician – Spa Management program courses are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education combining technical skills, practical experience, and business knowledge essential for success in the spa and wellness industry. In the first semester, students build foundational skills through courses like Communication Foundations, Introduction to Skin Physiology and Anatomy, Skincare 1, Manicure and Nail Techniques, Skincare Product Knowledge, and Spa Client Care. The second semester deepens practical knowledge with Skincare 2, Pedicure Techniques, Grooming and Hair Removal, and Spa Marketing Strategies, alongside Introduction to Business Computer Applications and a General Education Elective. Semester three offers advanced training in Skincare 3, Body Treatments and Therapies, Medical Esthetics 1, and hands-on experience in DC Spa Lab I, complemented by Spa Business Management and a General Education Elective. In the final semester, students refine their skills with Make-Up Application and Corrective Techniques, Medical Esthetics 2, DC Spa Lab II, and explore Emerging Spa Technology and Trends, along with Spa and Retail Operations and a General Education Elective. This curriculum balances hands-on lab work with business and marketing strategies to prepare graduates to confidently enter the spa industry as skilled estheticians and managers, ready to meet evolving client needs and industry trends.
