COURSE CURRICULUM

The Electric Vehicle Technician program offers a comprehensive curriculum across four semesters, combining automotive fundamentals with specialized electric vehicle (EV) training. In Semester 1, students build essential skills through courses like Auto Workshop Practices, Auto Basic Skills, Auto Directional and Control Systems, Communication Foundations, Computer Information and Trade Software, Introduction to EV Safety and Industry Trends, Mathematics, and a General Education Elective. Semester 2 advances knowledge in Auto Drive Lines Performance, Auto Electricity and Electronics, Automotive Power Engines, Engine Performance, Electric Vehicle Technology, Auto Business, Trade Math, and Interpersonal Skills. Semester 3 focuses on specialized EV topics such as Electric Vehicle Facility Safety, EV Electrical, Electric Drive and Energy Storage Systems, Electric Vehicle Networking, Hybrid Engine Performance, Auto Business, Legislative Impact of EV, alongside a General Education Elective. The final semester centers on hands-on application with the EV Capstone Project, Electric Vehicle Directional Control Systems, Propulsion, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems, Electric Vehicle Service and Diagnostic, Business Planning and Analysis, and a General Education Elective.
