COURSE CURRICULUM

In Semester 1, students are introduced to key areas of business, including accounting, business computer applications, financial planning, human resource management, marketing, and supply chain management, establishing a strong foundation for further study in these fields. Semester 2 builds on this knowledge with more advanced courses in accounting and business law, along with a focus on communication skills, macroeconomics, business mathematics, and the application of business computer applications. Students also select a general education elective to complement their studies. In Semester 3, students focus on intermediate and managerial accounting, business communications, and accounting software applications. A project management course tailored to accounting students is also part of the curriculum, along with a statistics course and another general education elective. In Semester 4, students deepen their understanding of accounting with courses in intermediate and managerial accounting, along with personal taxation. The semester also includes microeconomics, critical thinking and ethics, management information systems, and a general education elective to round out the academic experience.
