COURSE CURRICULUM

The HVAC Technician program provides students with a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and fuel-burning systems. In **Semester 1**, students develop essential communication skills and begin their technical training with practical and theoretical courses in gas technician fundamentals. They also explore heating systems, gain introductory experience in metal fabrication, and study oil burner theory. A strong foundation in mathematics supports their technical learning throughout the semester. In **Semester 2**, the program builds on this foundation with more advanced topics. Students learn how to interpret construction blueprints and work with cooling systems. They continue with practical and theoretical training in gas technician and oil burner systems, progressing to more complex applications. The curriculum also includes advanced metal fabrication and venting practices, providing students with the skills needed for safe and efficient HVAC installations. This well-rounded program prepares graduates for entry-level roles in the HVAC industry with a solid mix of technical competency and field readiness.
