COURSE CURRICULUM

In the first semester, students gain foundational knowledge in accounting, business computer applications, financial planning, human resource management, marketing, and supply chain management. The second semester builds on this with communication skills, advanced computer applications, client management and sales, macroeconomics, business mathematics, and a general education elective. In the third semester, students delve deeper into business communications, microeconomics, entrepreneurship, financial systems in Canada, retirement planning, and Canadian securities, along with another elective. The fourth semester focuses on personal taxation, money management software, insurance and mutual funds, Canadian securities, financial management, and a general elective. Semester five includes consumer credit, financial management, business and family law, leadership, international business, and statistics. In the final semester, students complete a field placement and seminar, study advanced financial planning, organizational behaviour, ethics, project management in finance, and cross-functional collaboration.
