COURSE CURRICULUM

The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Advanced Supply Chain Management requires the completion of 60 credits through a comprehensive set of courses designed to build both foundational and advanced skills. Core courses include Management Essentials, Business Statistics, Project Management Essentials, Systems Analysis and Design, Negotiation Skills, Operations Management, and Communicating and Working Effectively in Groups. Students choose between Business Communication or Public Speaking to enhance communication abilities. Specialized supply chain courses include Supply Materials Management, Managing Project Costs, Quality, Risks and Procurements, Applied Knowledge Management, Ethical Management and Decision Making, Supply Chain Planning, Global Supply Chain Management, Innovation and Change Management, Procurement Law and Contract Interpretation, Continuous Improvement, Public Sector Partnering and Procurement, and Business Strategy and Competitive Analysis. Additionally, students must choose between Financial and Managerial Accounting for Managers or an Experiential Learning and Internship course, offering either theoretical financial knowledge or practical, real-world experience. The program emphasizes both strategic and operational aspects of supply chain management, while also fostering skills in leadership, communication, ethics, and innovation. For students seeking additional applied experience, an optional Co-operative Education term (COOP 1100) is available, adding 9 credits and bringing the total program credits to 69. This co-op option allows students to gain hands-on industry experience, further enhancing job readiness and professional development in the global supply chain and logistics sectors.
