COURSE CURRICULUM

The User Experience (UX) Design program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers fundamental and advanced concepts essential for creating effective digital experiences. Students begin with an Introduction to Design, where they learn the principles of visual communication and creative problem-solving. They then explore Information Design, focusing on organizing and presenting data clearly to enhance user understanding. Interaction Design Methods teach students how users engage with digital products, emphasizing usability and user behavior. Multi-Platform UI Design prepares learners to create consistent and responsive interfaces across various devices, ensuring accessibility and seamless user experiences. Through Design Evaluation, students develop skills in assessing the effectiveness of their designs using qualitative and quantitative methods. The Design Sprint module introduces a fast-paced, collaborative process to rapidly prototype and test ideas. Intro to Special Topics in UX Design exposes students to emerging trends and technologies shaping the future of UX. The program culminates in Design Project 1, a hands-on assignment that allows students to apply their knowledge by creating a user-centered design solution from concept to prototype. This project integrates research, design, and evaluation skills, preparing students for professional roles in UX and UI design fields by building a strong portfolio showcasing their practical abilities.
