COURSE CURRICULUM

The Cybersecurity Diploma with Co-Op features a focused and practical curriculum designed to prepare students for careers in cybersecurity by building both foundational knowledge and specialized skills. The program begins with Cybersecurity Foundations, introducing core concepts such as information security principles, risk assessment, and basic defense mechanisms. Students then progress to Network Defender, where they learn to secure network infrastructures, detect threats, and implement protective measures against cyberattacks. In Ethical Hacker, students are trained in the techniques and tools used by ethical hackers to identify vulnerabilities and assess the security posture of systems legally and responsibly. This leads into Penetration Testing Professional, where students gain advanced skills in simulating real-world cyberattacks to uncover and address potential weaknesses in applications, networks, and systems. For those enrolled in the Co-Op Diploma option, the program concludes with a Work Experience component, allowing students to apply their learning in a real-world environment, gain valuable industry experience, and build professional connections. This hands-on approach ensures that graduates are not only knowledgeable in theory but also skilled in practice, making them job-ready for roles such as cybersecurity analyst, penetration tester, or network security specialist in today’s digital and security-driven job market.
