COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Solutions Management program spans four levels, providing a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the fast-paced digital technology environment. In Level 1, foundational courses cover Business Concepts and Models, Design Thinking, Agile Analysis & Design, Solutions Project Management, Software Quality Management, and Multi-tier Software Development Techniques, setting the stage for understanding both technical and business aspects of digital solutions. Level 2 builds on this foundation with advanced courses such as Enterprise Solution Architecture, Management Innovation, Data Solutions, Case Studies in Enterprise Solutions, and Strategic and Tactical Planning, further enhancing students’ skills in managing complex digital projects and organizational strategies. In Level 3, students engage in Career Management in Canada, preparing them to navigate the job market and workplace culture effectively. Level 4 focuses on applying accumulated knowledge through the Digital Solutions Management Capstone Project, which synthesizes learning into a real-world project experience, complemented by the Solutions Management Seminar and courses in Cloud Technologies, Management and Leadership Essentials, and Human Resources Management. This final stage hones leadership, strategic planning, and human resource skills critical for managing digital solutions teams and projects. Throughout the program, students develop a blend of technical proficiency, project management expertise, and leadership capabilities, positioning them to adapt and thrive in roles such as IT managers, solutions architects, project leaders, and technology strategists.
