COURSE CURRICULUM

The Intercultural Communication and Leadership Ontario College Graduate Certificate program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop students' leadership and communication skills in diverse organizational settings. In Level 1, students engage in courses such as Career Management, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Organizational Contexts, and Intercultural Communication in Contemporary Canada, which build a strong foundation for understanding and navigating multicultural environments. Additional courses like Leadership Theory, Performance Metrics, and Principles of Management provide essential knowledge and practical skills to lead effectively and measure organizational success. The Conestoga 101 course introduces students to the college’s resources and learning strategies to support their academic journey. In Level 2, students deepen their understanding through courses like Learning, Metacognition and Change, and Writing for Diverse Audiences, which enhance their adaptability and communication proficiency. Applied Leadership and the Leadership Capstone enable students to apply theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios, further refining their leadership capabilities. The program also includes Introduction to Project Management and Group Dynamics, equipping students with essential tools to manage teams and projects within complex, multicultural workplaces.
