COURSE CURRICULUM

The Electronics Engineering Technology program is a comprehensive three-year advanced diploma that provides students with a strong foundation in both theory and practical skills needed for a successful career in electronics. In the first year, students cover essential courses such as Electronics Engineering Skills, Digital Electronics I, DC Circuits, Mathematics I, and Programming I, along with communication and college readiness courses. The second year builds on this foundation with Electronics I, Digital Electronics II, AC Circuits, Mathematics II, and Programming II, as well as general education electives. In the third year, students advance their knowledge with Electronics II, Microprocessors, Digital Design, Computer Networking, Power Electronics, Electronics Lab, and Technical Calculus I. The fourth year focuses on Embedded Systems, Printed Circuit Board Design, Technical Calculus II, Principles of Telecommunication Systems, Transmission Lines, and Telecommunications Lab. The fifth year introduces Automated Test and Measurement, RF Circuits, DSP Applications, Digital Telecommunications, and a Capstone Project where students apply their skills. In the final year, students take courses in Mechatronics, DSP Applications II, Microwaves, Mobile Communications and Wireless Networks, and complete a second Capstone Project. Throughout the program, students have access to modern laboratories equipped with advanced instrumentation and software for design, simulation, and troubleshooting, preparing them for careers in electronics technology, automation, telecommunications, and related fields with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills.
