COURSE CURRICULUM

The Information Technology Infrastructure Support program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills needed to support and administer modern IT environments. In the first year, foundational courses such as Computer Systems Fundamentals, Computer Operations and Troubleshooting, and Network Infrastructure I introduce students to essential hardware, software, and networking concepts, alongside IT documentation and service management principles. The second year builds on this foundation with courses like Applied Network and Security, Infrastructure Services Administration, Mobile and Messaging, and Windows Systems Infrastructure, providing practical knowledge in network security, server management, and mobile technologies. In the third year, students advance their expertise with specialized courses including Database Systems Administration, Private Cloud Infrastructure, Linux Systems Infrastructure, Project Management for IT, and IT Support Programming Fundamentals, preparing them to manage diverse infrastructure components and lead projects effectively. The final year focuses on advanced topics such as Network Infrastructure II, Operating Systems and Systems Infrastructure II, Advanced Cloud Infrastructure Administration, Information Technology Project, and Emerging Technologies, ensuring graduates are well-versed in cutting-edge technologies and project execution. Throughout the program, students also complete general education electives to develop critical thinking and communication skills. This program’s practical, hands-on approach, combined with theoretical knowledge, prepares students for roles in IT support, network administration, cloud services, and infrastructure management. The curriculum’s emphasis on current technologies and project management prepares graduates to meet industry demands and pursue relevant certifications.
