COURSE CURRICULUM

The MISAM program consists of core courses covering topics such as Information Systems Assurance, Risk Management, IT Governance, Auditing Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics for Assurance, and Ethical Hacking. Students engage in case studies, projects, and simulations to apply concepts in real-world scenarios. Elective options may include Advanced Topics in Information Security or Forensic Accounting. The curriculum culminates in a capstone project or thesis, where students conduct original research or develop an assurance framework. Emphasis is placed on standards like COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks. Courses are delivered through lectures, seminars, and hands-on labs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of assurance methodologies and tools.
