COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Management program requires a total of 120 credits and offers a Leadership emphasis requiring a minimum of 12 credits of unspecified 300- or 400-level LDR courses. Students begin with a core requirement of 6 credits in English, essential for developing communication skills. The business foundation includes 39 credits, covering economics (ECO 101 and ECO 102), accounting (ACCT 101 and ACCT 102), and introductory business courses such as BUS 110, BUS 120, and either BUS 112 or MAT 151, with BUS 112 highly recommended. Additional business courses include finance (FIN 201), marketing (MARK 201 and MARK 223), and more. Management courses total 27 credits and cover advanced finance (FIN 325), human resource management (HRM 220), leadership development (LDR 301 and LDR 402), and strategic management (MGT 320, MGT 323, MGT 417, MGT 440, and MGT 474). Electives, minors, or emphasis courses make up 45 credits, excluding business minors. A 3-credit internship (MGT 498) offers practical work experience. Students must also have a minimum grade of 75% in Math 30-1 or Math 30-2 or credit in BUS 111, along with AIT 100. The Leadership emphasis equips students with essential skills to lead teams, manage projects, and solve complex problems, preparing them for leadership roles across industries in business, government, non-profit, and more.
