COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Management program requires students to complete a total of 120 credits, offering a well-rounded education in business with the option to specialize, such as in Human Resource Management (HRM). The program begins with a core requirement of 6 credits in English courses, essential for developing strong communication skills. The business component includes 39 credits covering foundational subjects such as economics (ECO 101 and ECO 102), accounting (ACCT 101 and ACCT 102), and introductory business courses (BUS 110, BUS 120, and either BUS 112 or MAT 151, with BUS 112 highly recommended). Other important business courses include finance (FIN 201), marketing (MARK 201 and MARK 223), and more. Management courses require 27 credits, including finance at an advanced level (FIN 325), HRM 220, leadership development (LDR 301 and LDR 402), and key management strategy courses (MGT 320, MGT 323, MGT 417, MGT 440, and MGT 474). Students must complete 45 credits of electives, which can be chosen to fulfill a minor or emphasis, excluding business minors. The HRM emphasis requires a minimum of 12 credits in unspecified 300- or 400-level HRM courses, offering deep knowledge in personnel management, recruitment, training, and employee relations. A 3-credit internship (MGT 498) provides practical experience. Additional requirements include a minimum grade of 75% in Math 30-1 or Math 30-2 or credit in BUS 111, along with AIT 100. This program prepares students for diverse HR careers such as corporate trainer, recruitment officer, labor relations advisor, and more.
