COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Management program requires students to complete a total of 120 credits, designed to provide a well-rounded business education with opportunities for specialization. Students begin with a core requirement of 6 credits in English courses to develop strong communication skills. The business foundation consists of 39 credits, including essential courses such as economics (ECO 101 and ECO 102), accounting (ACCT 101 and ACCT 102), and introductory business classes (BUS 110, BUS 120, and either BUS 112 or MAT 151, with BUS 112 highly recommended). Further business courses include BUS 210, BUS 250, BUS 220, finance (FIN 201), and marketing (MARK 201 and MARK 223). The management component consists of 27 credits covering finance (FIN 325), human resource management (HRM 220), management principles (MGT 320, MGT 323, MGT 417, MGT 440, MGT 474), and leadership development (LDR 301 and LDR 402). Additionally, students must complete 45 credits of electives, which can include minors or emphases, but not business minors. A 3-credit internship (MGT 498) provides practical experience essential for career readiness. Admission requirements include achieving a minimum grade of 75% in Math 30-1 or Math 30-2, or credit in BUS 111, and completion of AIT 100. For those pursuing the Data Management emphasis, a minimum of 6 credits in 300- or 400-level Data Management (DTM) courses is required. This specialization equips students with skills in analyzing and managing large datasets, preparing them to make informed, data-driven business decisions across various industries.
