COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Management program requires students to complete a total of 120 credits, structured to provide a comprehensive business education with flexibility for specialization. The program begins with a core requirement of 6 credits in English courses, ensuring strong communication skills. The business component consists of 39 credits, including foundational courses such as economics (ECO 101 and ECO 102), accounting (ACCT 101 and ACCT 102), and essential business courses like BUS 110, BUS 120, and either BUS 112 or MAT 151, with BUS 112 highly recommended. Students also take advanced courses including BUS 210, BUS 250, BUS 220, finance (FIN 201), and marketing (MARK 201 and MARK 223). The management segment requires 27 credits, covering finance (FIN 325), human resource management (HRM 220), management courses (MGT 320, MGT 323, MGT 417, MGT 440, MGT 474), and leadership development (LDR 301 and LDR 402). Additionally, students must complete 45 credits of electives, which can include minors or emphases, excluding business minors. A 3-credit internship (MGT 498) provides practical work experience essential for career readiness. Admission criteria include achieving at least 75% in Math 30-1 or Math 30-2, or credit in BUS 111, alongside completion of AIT 100. For those interested in specializing in Cybersecurity Management, a minimum of 12 credits in designated courses (CSM 301, CSM 303, CSM 305, and CSM 401) is required.
