COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Management program requires students to complete a total of 120 credits. The program is structured into several key components, starting with a core requirement of 6 credits in English courses. The business portion includes 39 credits covering foundational subjects such as economics (ECO 101 and ECO 102), accounting (ACCT 101 and ACCT 102), and essential business courses like BUS 110, BUS 120, and BUS 112 or MAT 151, with BUS 112 highly recommended. Students also take advanced business courses including BUS 210, BUS 250, BUS 220, FIN 201, and marketing courses MARK 201 and MARK 223. The management section requires 27 credits, including finance (FIN 325), human resource management (HRM 220), management courses (MGT 320, MGT 323, MGT 417, MGT 440, MGT 474), and leadership courses (LDR 301, LDR 402). Additionally, students must complete 45 credits of electives or courses related to their chosen minor or emphasis, excluding business minors. An internship (MGT 498) of 3 credits is also mandatory, providing practical work experience. Admission into the program requires students to have achieved at least 75% in Math 30-1 or 30-2, or credit in BUS 111. The program also includes AIT 100 as an additional requirement. For students interested in the Conflict Management emphasis, a minimum of 12 credits is needed, consisting of courses such as HRM 310, HRM 323, HRM 326, and HRM 400. This emphasis prepares students to manage and resolve conflicts effectively within organizations, enhancing their leadership and interpersonal skills.
