COURSE CURRICULUM

The Information Technology and Networking (ITAN) Diploma is designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of IT. The curriculum covers the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, administration, and securing of computing devices and network infrastructure. Delivered in a cross-platform lab environment by industry-qualified instructors, the program prepares students for a wide range of careers in IT and enables them to pursue internationally recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, Server+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MTA and Office Specialist, Linux Essentials, CWNP wireless certifications, FOA CPCT and CFOT, and Python PCAP. The second year of the ITAN program focuses on advanced topics and skill development. Courses include ENGL-113 Writing and Communication, ITAN-100 Computer Technical Analyst, ITAN-110 Systems Support Analyst, ITAN-120 Network Infrastructure, ITAN-130 Interconnecting Networks I, ITAN-140 Linux Administration, ITAN-150 Microsoft Enterprise Server, ITAN-160 Cyber Security Foundations, ITAN-170 Interconnecting Networks II, ITAN-180 Interconnecting Networks III, ITAN-190 Technical Work Skills, ITAN-200 Microsoft Office Specialist, ITAN-210 Enterprise Operating Systems, ITAN-220 Wireless Technologies, ITAN-230 Cisco Capstone, ITAN-240 Programming in Python, ITAN-250 Data Cabling, ITAN-260 Data Center Technologies, and ITAN-290 Project Work Skills and Program Capstone. These courses ensure students gain in-depth, job-ready competencies in system administration, networking, cybersecurity, and programming. Students also choose between ENGL-229 Professional Business and Technical Communication or MGT-154 Applied Human Relations to further develop soft skills essential for career success. Graduates emerge from the program well-equipped for entry-level roles such as network technician, systems analyst, IT support specialist, or junior cybersecurity analyst, with the added advantage of certification readiness to strengthen their employability.
