COURSE CURRICULUM

The Diploma in Acting for Stage and Screen is a comprehensive three-year program designed to provide students with the skills required for a professional acting career in theatre, television, and film. In the first year, students complete 31.5 credits, focusing on fundamental acting techniques, voice and movement, screen acting, and performance history, with courses like Acting I & II, Voice and Movement for the Actor, and Screen Acting I. The second year builds on this foundation, with 34 credits covering advanced acting, voice, and movement skills, ensemble projects, screen projects, and directing analysis, along with hands-on experience in acting for film and stage. In the third year, students complete 35.5 credits, emphasizing special skills for the performer, musical theatre, advanced screen projects, and conceptual approaches to theatre and film, capped with a graduation showcase. The program also includes private music/theatre instruction throughout, ensuring well-rounded development for aspiring actors.
