COURSE CURRICULUM

The program spans four terms over two years. Year 1 includes courses like Introduction to Technical Theatre, Stagecraft I and II, Lighting for Theatre, Sound for Theatre, Stage Management, and Production Techniques. Students also take Theatre History and Design Fundamentals. Year 2 advances with Applied Production Techniques, Advanced Lighting and Sound, Scenic Construction, Props and Costumes, and a Capstone Production Project. Electives may include Digital Media for Theatre or Special Effects. Practical components involve crewing university productions, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving. The curriculum integrates theory with extensive lab work and live show participation to build a comprehensive skill set.
