COURSE CURRICULUM

The Early Childhood Care & Education Post Baccalaureate Diploma requires a total of 30 credits designed to deepen your knowledge and skills in the field. Core courses include EDUC 373 Inquiry-Based Learning in ECCE and EDUC 473 Teacher as Researcher, each worth 3 credits, which focus on fostering reflective and research-based teaching practices. Students then select 24 credits from a diverse list of courses that explore various aspects of early childhood education. These include topics such as culture and globalization in EDUC 375, global perspectives on literature and literacy in EDUC 376, and outdoor curriculum in EDUC 383 and EDUC 483. The program also offers specialized courses on numeracy, advanced curriculum studies, and pedagogical roles like the Pedagogista and Atelierista, with courses such as EDUC 379, 386, 388, 476, and 477.
