COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans 120 credits over four years. Years 1-2 cover foundational courses from the Paralegal Diploma, including Legal Research and Writing, Torts, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Family Law, Corporate Law, Real Estate Law, Criminal Law, and Evidence. Students also take electives in business or arts. Years 3-4 advance to upper-level courses such as Advanced Legal Research, Legal Philosophy, Indigenous Legal Studies, Administrative Law, Intellectual Property, and a Paralegal Capstone project involving real-world legal scenarios. Additional requirements include English, communications, and breadth electives to ensure a well-rounded education. Practical components include moot courts, drafting legal documents, and ethical case analyses. The program requires a minimum GPA for progression and offers opportunities for co-op or internships in legal settings.
