COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans four years and includes foundational courses in psychology, child development, and autism spectrum disorders. Year 1 covers introductory ABA principles, ethics, and basic behavioural interventions. Year 2 delves into assessment techniques, data collection, and single-subject research designs. Year 3 focuses on advanced topics like verbal behaviour, functional analysis, and program evaluation, with electives in related areas such as special education. Year 4 emphasizes applied practicum experiences, capstone projects, and preparation for certification. Core courses include ABA 100: Introduction to Applied Behaviour Analysis, ABA 200: Behavioural Assessment, ABA 312: Single Subject Research Methods, ABA 341: Autism Across the Lifespan, ABA 411: Advanced Topics in ABA, and ABA 414: Ethics for Behaviour Analysts. Students complete 120 credits, including general education requirements in arts and sciences.
