Canadian College of Technology and Business

The Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB) was established in 2015 in Vancouver, British Columbia, as a private institution focused on providing technical and business education designed to meet the needs of a modern, digital workforce. The college is part of the Global University Systems group and was founded with the aim of delivering high-quality, career-oriented programs that equip students with practical, in-demand skills. Its curriculum is designed around current industry requirements and is delivered by experienced professionals who bring real-world knowledge into the classroom. A key feature of CCTB’s approach is the integration of practical experience through co-op placements and practicum programs, allowing students to apply their learning in professional settings and gain valuable workplace experience before entering the job market. Beyond technical skills, the college emphasizes professional development and career readiness by offering a range of career services. These services include workshops on job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and networking guidance, helping students to successfully transition from education to employment. CCTB also supports continued education through academic pathways that enable students to progress into higher-level programs, including those offered at University Canada West. The college’s focus on practical training, combined with a strong support system for professional growth, ensures that graduates are prepared to meet the challenges of evolving industries and competitive job markets. Through a combination of hands-on learning, industry-relevant curriculum, and career-focused support, CCTB provides students with both the knowledge and confidence required to succeed in technical, business, and information systems careers. Over the years, the college has built a reputation for aligning its programs with the demands of employers, fostering a learning environment that prioritizes both skill development and career outcomes. By emphasizing applied learning, professional guidance, and academic progression, CCTB continues to help students achieve their educational and professional goals while contributing to the development of a skilled and adaptable workforce in Vancouver and beyond.
