COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes core courses such as Introduction to Social Welfare in Canada, Human Development Across the Lifespan, Social Work Methods, Counseling Techniques, Group Dynamics, and Field Placement. Students engage in experiential learning through simulations, case studies, and two field placements totaling 700 hours. Elective courses may cover topics like Indigenous Perspectives in Social Work, Addiction Studies, and Crisis Intervention. The program integrates classroom instruction with practical training to develop competencies in assessment, intervention, documentation, and professional communication.
