COURSE CURRICULUM

This Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBBA) General program offers a comprehensive four-year curriculum designed to develop core business competencies and practical experience through a blend of theoretical learning and real-world application. In the first two years, students complete foundational courses such as accounting, business management, micro and macroeconomics, marketing, finance, human resources, data literacy, and business analytics. Additional workshops in programming, case analysis, and Indigenous business economics enrich the academic experience. In the third year, students delve deeper into subjects like financial statement analysis, business strategy, artificial intelligence, decision models, international business, and entrepreneurship, while also completing a mandatory full-semester paid internship and a project management course to gain hands-on industry experience. The final year focuses on applied learning and leadership, with courses in applied research methods, a seminar series, a leadership workshop, and an applied learning project, alongside electives and a course in corporate finance. The program totals 152 credits over nine semesters and is structured to ensure students graduate with a well-rounded business education, critical thinking abilities, and career-ready skills applicable to a wide range of roles across business sectors. With flexible elective options, students can tailor their learning to align with specific interests or emerging business trends.
