COURSE CURRICULUM

The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Data Analytics (HBBD) is a four-year program designed to equip students with advanced analytical, technical, and strategic business skills. Building on a strong foundation in business and mathematics, students in semesters 5 to 9 engage in specialized coursework that blends data science with core business concepts. Key subjects include discrete mathematics, programming for analytics, structured data management, data analysis, and statistical modeling. Courses like storytelling with data, dashboards and data modelling, and machine learning foundations prepare students to turn complex data into actionable insights. Business-focused courses such as business strategy, decision models, international business, and artificial intelligence complement the technical training. A full-semester paid internship in the third year provides students with valuable real-world experience, while the final year emphasizes applied learning through research methods, a seminar series, leadership training, and a capstone project. With a total of 82 credits across the final five semesters, graduates are well-prepared to enter high-demand roles in data analytics, business intelligence, and strategic consulting. The HBBD program’s interdisciplinary structure ensures students are career-ready for today’s data-driven economy, making them competitive candidates in both the private and public sectors.
