COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science (MSc) program in Biological Sciences requires the successful completion of 2.5 total credits. Central to the degree is the BIOL 5F90 MSc Thesis course, in which students must enroll each term, providing them with continuous supervision and support as they conduct original research. Additionally, students must complete BIOL 5P95 MSc Research Seminar, which offers opportunities to present research findings and engage with the academic community. The program also mandates a minimum of 1.5 credits of coursework, with strict academic standards requiring students to achieve a minimum grade of 70 percent. Within these coursework credits, students are required to complete at least one half-credit course from specialized courses such as BIOL 5P85, 5P86, 5P87, or 5P88, which provide advanced training in specific areas of biological sciences. Furthermore, students must take one additional half-credit course from BIOL courses numbered 5(alpha)00 or higher, ensuring breadth and depth in their academic preparation.
