COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program offers an integrated and innovative curriculum designed to provide students with a comprehensive accounting education that develops critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills through case studies, discussions, presentations, and research papers. The program is structured to prepare graduates to become strategic and well-rounded accounting professionals. A key feature of the program is the MAcc CPA Pathway offered by Goodman, which allows students to complete all required courses and modules needed for the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and proceed directly to the Common Final Examination (CFE) upon graduation. In the first term, students take four courses that cover all CPA elective modules, including Assurance, Finance, Tax, and Performance Management, providing a solid foundation in these essential areas. The second term includes two graduate-level accounting courses specific to the program as well as two CPA Capstone courses that focus on integration, team management, and case analysis skills necessary for successful preparation for the CFE.
