COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Data Sciences and Analytics program offers a comprehensive four-year curriculum blending computer science, mathematics, and business analytics. In Year 1, students gain foundational knowledge through courses like Introduction to Computer Science (COSC 1P02/1P03), Microeconomics and Macroeconomics (ECON 1P91/1P92), Applied Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Data Analysis and Business Modelling. Year 2 builds on this foundation with courses in Advanced Data Structures (COSC 2P03), Operating Systems (COSC 2P13), Information Systems (ITIS 2P91), Multivariable Calculus, and Probability and Statistics. Students also explore electives in areas such as computer architecture, financial mathematics, and organizational behaviour. In Year 3, students focus on big data programming (DASA 2P08), data visualization (DASA 3P31), artificial intelligence, database systems, software engineering, and advanced statistical techniques like regression and multivariate analysis.
