COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sciences offers a flexible program that allows students to design a personalized course plan by selecting credits from various scientific disciplines. In Year 1, students take FMSC 1P00, which helps transition them into university-level science, along with two and a half credits from the Faculty of Mathematics and Science, one Humanities context credit, and one Social Sciences context credit. In Year 2, the program requires two and a half credits from the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and two and a half elective credits, allowing students to broaden their studies while adhering to program guidelines. Year 3 focuses on more advanced coursework, with two credits from the Faculty of Mathematics and Science numbered 2(alpha)90 or above, one-half credit also from the Faculty of Mathematics and Science, and one elective credit numbered 2(alpha)90 or above. Additionally, students complete one and a half more elective credits. This structure encourages interdisciplinary learning and flexibility, preparing students for diverse career paths or further studies by providing a broad and adaptable scientific foundation without the constraints of a fixed major or specialization.
