COURSE CURRICULUM

The Operations Management concentration within the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is ideal for students interested in the design, execution, and improvement of business operations and systems. To qualify, students must maintain a minimum 70% major average, 60% non-major average, a minimum 70% in OPER 2P91, and a 70% OPER average. In Year 1, students build foundational knowledge through courses in financial accounting, micro and macroeconomics, business principles, data analysis, statistics, calculus, communication, and a Humanities or Sciences context credit. Year 2 focuses on core business disciplines including management accounting, commercial law, business econometrics, entrepreneurship, marketing, information systems, organizational behavior, operations management, and a half elective credit. Year 3 emphasizes ethics, corporate finance, international business, marketing management, HR management, and includes an upper-year OPER or ITIS elective, alongside a context credit and a general elective. In Year 4, students take the capstone Business Strategy course, one additional upper-year business elective, and deepen their expertise with two and a half credits from upper-year ITIS or OPER courses. This concentration prepares students for careers in supply chain management, logistics, operations planning, quality control, and business process optimization, making them valuable assets in today’s data-driven and efficiency-focused global business environment.
