COURSE CURRICULUM

The Entrepreneurship concentration within the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is tailored for students aiming to launch ventures or lead innovation within existing organizations. To qualify, students must maintain a minimum 70 percent major average and a 60 percent non-major average. In Year 1, students build foundational knowledge through courses in financial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics, data analysis, business principles, communication, calculus, statistics, and a Humanities or Sciences context credit. Year 2 deepens business understanding with management accounting, commercial law, econometrics, entrepreneurship, corporate finance, information systems, marketing, organizational behaviour, operations management, and a half elective credit. Year 3 focuses on advanced topics including one-half ENTR credit (300-level or higher), business ethics, international business, corporate finance II, marketing management, human resource management, the remaining context credit, and one elective. In Year 4, students complete Business Strategy, one and one-half ENTR credits at the 300 level or above, a half credit from related disciplines (e.g., accounting, finance, marketing), one and one-half elective credits, and one course from a set of specialized options such as Tax Strategies, Labour Relations, Negotiation, or an additional ENTR course. This concentration prepares students to think creatively, solve problems, and manage new business ventures successfully.
