COURSE CURRICULUM

The Interactive Arts and Science program offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends creativity, technology, and critical thinking across four years. In the first year, students build foundational knowledge through courses like Foundations of Interactive Arts and Science, Being Human in a Digital World, and Programming for Interactive Media, alongside science and social sciences context credits. The second year expands into project management, interaction and interface design, and 3D visualization, while allowing students to explore electives and interdisciplinary courses such as The Information Society and Website Creation. In the third year, students engage in hands-on learning through Interactive Media Practices, Prototyping and Production, and develop their portfolio, complemented by electives and courses in film, theatre, and popular culture, including Film History, Popular Cinema, and Theories of Popular Culture. The fourth year culminates with a collaborative practicum in interactive media design and production, preparing students for real-world applications. Additional electives and advanced courses in scriptwriting, critical theory, and cinema authorship deepen students’ expertise. Throughout the program, students gain practical experience, critical perspectives, and technical skills to thrive in the evolving fields of interactive media, combining art, science, and technology to create innovative digital experiences.
